I found an article today that explains that some TSX listed stocks can actually pay US dollar dividends. Without proper planning this can mean your brokerage charges you a conversion fee for changing the dividend dollars from US to CAN.  A link to the article called Canadian Stocks Paying US Dollar Dividends has been added to the Tax Planning page.
