Should we have an idea of what a stock is worth before buying it? You bet! This seminar will outline the valuation methods exemplified in Bruce Greenwald, et. al.'s book, Value Investing (Wiley, 2001). Determining the normal capital structure, net asset value (NAV), and earnings power value of a company provide a good indication of how it will perform in future. Find out why this type of analysis is not beyond the capability of a motivated advanced amateur to undertake.
